After announcing their buyout by Acer Computing it appears Eten is in no mood to slow down, the company announced several new cell phones this week, with a real cool development on their Eten DX900. The Eten DX900 is a dual sim card device that support 2G (GSM/EDGE) networks, and the high speed internet connection 3.5G (UMTS/HSDPA).

The phone was so impressive it was actually awarded the Best Choice of Computex Award 2008 for its innovation. So where's the innovation you may be asking yourself. It turns out the DX900 is the world’s first dual-SIM & dual standby Windows Mobile handset to support HSDPA and EDGE. Thanks to the dual sim card design users can use two sim cards which can be combined for a business and personal line, or users can choose to use one as a phone line and the other as a data line with a separate sim card.

Like other Eten devices in the past, the unit will also feature WiFi connectivity and will even sport a 3 mega pixel camera. Also, if you want to see your pictures or watch your videos that won't be a problem either, it turns out the Eten DX900 comes equipped with a staple of the Eten Glofiish series of recent devices, a VGA display output. So Viva Monogami!!
